Subversion Clients Review KSvn

SAT, 01 MAY 2010

To tick off another subversion client review, I wanted to check out KSvn.  Not to be mistaken with KDESvn, KSvn is "a Konqueror-integrated frontend to the subversion (svn) revision control system for KDE".  While looking promising, I think it is safe to discard this tool, for the following reasons :

  1. Latest release is 0.2, dating from 2005-05-17

  2. Require Gambas 1, which is no longer available

So, it's not available in the various Linux distribution repositories, and you can't easily build it from the sources.

Do I need to say anything else to convince you to stay away from this tool, unless you want to resurrect it?
