Summer 2009 Linux events
23 April 2009 - Filed under miscellaneous
Summer is coming, and this means a lot of great events that can be really interesting for professional Linux software developers. To help me keep track of them, here’s the list of events related to Linux software development that are happening this summer.
I’ve sorted the list by the dates of the events, so it will be easy to see when it’s too late for a particular event…!
- Penguicon (USA, May 1-3)
- JavaOne (USA, June 2-5)
- USENIX (USA, June 14-19)
- RMLL (FRA, July 7-11)
- Linux Symposium (CAN, July 13-17)
- OSCON (USA, July 20-24)
- Black Hat (USA, July 25-30)
- OpenSourceWorld (USA, August, 12-13) (was LinuxWorld Conference & Expo)
- LinuxCon (USA, September 21-23)
- Linux Plumber Conference (USA, September 23-25)
If someone knows any other event that can be of particular interest to a professional Linux software developer, please, leave a comment and I’ll add it to that list.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to attend some of those!
